Request Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your LabourLink account — as a customer or as a partner — and the personal data associated with it at any time. Send a deletion request using either method below.
How to Request
- Email support@labourlink.in from the email address registered on your account, with the subject "Account Deletion Request". Include your registered phone number so we can locate your account.
- Alternatively, open the LabourLink app, go to Profile → Help & Support → Contact Support, and request account deletion through chat.
- We verify the request against the account owner and process it within 7 business days.
- You'll receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted.
What Gets Deleted
• Your account profile: name, phone number, email address, and city/area. • Partner-specific data: bio, years of experience, services offered, pricing, uploaded documents (government ID, selfie), and languages spoken. • Saved addresses and app preferences. • Your Firebase Authentication login credentials.
What May Be Retained
• Booking records (service history, amounts, dates) with personal identifiers removed, retained in anonymised form for accounting and analytics. • Records we're legally required to keep, such as transaction data needed for tax or dispute-resolution purposes, retained only as long as required by law. • Information already shared with another user through a completed booking (e.g. a partner's copy of a past customer's name) is not retroactively removed from that user's device.
Timeframe
Account deletion requests are processed within 7 business days. Data covered under "What May Be Retained" above is kept only for as long as legally or operationally necessary, and is not used for any purpose other than compliance and aggregated analytics.
